A Spicy Meeting, Continued
A week or so ago, I met with this charming group of young ladies (and their mothers) who had read Hattie Big Sky. Not only did we enjoy warm, delicious Wartime Spice Cake, we also enjoyed lively conversation. Because I don't want to ruin the story for those of you who haven't read it yet, I won't reveal the question the girls asked that spurred the most discussion.
What a terrific group of girls and what a terrific group of moms for making this commitment to their children and to books!
